What does this Mean2Me?
Whenever I hear an old song I am taken back to
where or who I was with when I first heard it.
Whether it was with friends, family, barbeques
or dances, it all brings back great memories.
When people say that they don’t make music
like they used to, this box of 45’s is my proof.
Why am I letting go?
Over the years I’ve moved about 10 times and I
always pack this box of music and memories,
even though I do not have anything that I can
play them with. Now I’m used to streaming
music on platforms like Pandora or Spotify. I
always thought I could do something creative
with them, but I’m just not that artistic.
I’m looking to sell this box for $25.99
It includes all the 45’s, the record spindle adaptor and the 70’s design box. I’m even including my own 1972 recording from my class at OW Phair Elementary School in Laurel, MD. It has the hits “Music is Everywhere” and “Pollution”. (Who can resist the fond memories of elementary school choirs?)
