Courtney, Daphne, and I are three best friends who realized a few years ago that we all had way too many possessions that needed new homes. But even though we knew we really needed to work on clearing out our clutter, there were some special things we just couldn’t bring ourselves to part with. How were each of these unique items alike? Each one had its own special story that made it so much more than an everyday object.

The more we talked about it, the more we realized we wanted a way to search for and find those special people who would value our items and their stories just as much as we did. Then Courtney suggested we put them online. Create a place where we could not only post items for sale, but also share their special stories with others, make some new connections, and find new homes for our treasured items. So, we created Means2Me.

Right now, it’s the three of us here, posting our well-loved mementos and heirlooms, and telling you why, even though we don’t have room for them anymore ourselves, we think they deserve really special new homes—maybe even a home with you.

And someday soon, we hope you’ll be able to post your special items for sale here, too, and find special new homes for them, and, of course, share with everyone what they mean to you.
